I have paid off over $15,000 in debt in a little over a year and I love saving money where I can!

I do believe that even dollars add up and contribute to the bigger picture of your money!

So here are 5 ways that I save money!

1) Coffee and breakfast at home

Making breakfast and home saves me at least $15 if not way more! It seems like such a little habit, but it always starts my day off with a “good money choice” that can snowball into other good money choices throughout the day.

2)  Library

Going to the library saved me $23 dollars ONE with this visit. We frequent our library at least once a week because of all of the resources they have for us!

3) Finding cheap contact lenses

When I am shopping for contact lenses I check Lenspricer before ordering. Getting them straight from your eye doctor can be pricey, but using Lenspricer, you can compare the cost of contacts to find the cheapest place. You just find the contact lenses you normally wear and compare prices for stores to order them from! This would save SO much money! Check out Lenspricer to find cheap contacts.

4) Meal Planning

Another way I save money is planning dinner ahead of time so I am not trying to figure out what to order at 5 pm and then giving in and ordering pizza. Making a meal plan on Sundays and then being sure of what I am going to eat before 10 am helps me from getting stuck in this “what are we eating” cycle.

5) Controlled Doom scroll.

The last thing I do in the evening to save money is put my phone down so I am not tempted to add to cart! When I find myself doomscrolling, I know that I am more susceptible to adding to cart!

What else are you doing to save money?
